This group is for people that live in Canton or Fells Point who are looking for a buddy to go to the Gym with. I have found that I am a dependent motivator, meaning I can motivate someone else but if I don’t have someone to go with, I won’t go. If you are like me, than this group is for you. The idea of this group is that each member of this group will have a gym membership to either the Maryland Athletic Club (MAC) in Harbor East or the Merritt Athletic Club in Canton. In a perfect world, this group will help you find a gym buddy who belongs to the gym you belong to. If that’s not the case, both of these gyms have a program called "Elite Sports Network" where you can get a pass to go to the other gym 3 times per month. So if you find a gym buddy who has a membership at the Merritt but you belong to the MAC, no worries, you can still work out with each other 6 times each month. Unfortunately the Canton Fitness Club does not have this same program but if you are a member there, please email me and let me know if they let you bring guests for free. It is not a requirement to have a gym membership to join this group. If you're in the process of looking for a gym and are not sure which one you want to join, you can always call and get a free pass to try it out. A second option is to find a gym buddy from this group and if they are willing, they might be able to call and get a free pass to bring a friend (I know the MAC does this).
